Hartmut Gottschild

Between 1992 and 2003 Hartmut Gottschild was managing director of the German Dow Corning GmbH where he played a considerable role in the successful set-up of the company.
He retired in 2003. In addition to his role as managing director of the Dow Corning Group, between 1999 to 2003, Mr. Gottschild was also European Area Director and Global Leader for selected markets. In this function, Mr. Gottschild was responsible both for the development as well as for the implementation of worldwide product and market strategies in various business areas. Before commencing his international group activities, Mr. Gottschild was managing director of Perenator GmbH, a medium-sized chemicals company. After his studies at business school, Mr. Gottschild obtained his MBA from the University Insead / University of Michigan. Hartmut Gottschild is currently involved in the supervisory and advisory boards of various technological companies.
