Hannover Messe 2007: Nanogate presents industry solutions for automotive and mechanical engineering
Saarbrücken/Hanover, 16 April 2007. As the world's largest industrial trade fair gets underway, Nanogate AG’s presence focuses on the automotive and mechanical engineering segment. The Saarbrücken-based company is primarily exhibiting nanotechnological surface enhancements for drive, coating and filtration technology, and power engineering.
With its NEXT strategy programme, Nanogate AG has started to systematically further develop the company and concentrate on attractive, high-growth industries and segments. As an exhibitor at Hannover Messe, Germany's leading enabler in the nanotechnology growth market is now offering an insight into the automotive and mechanical engineering sector. This includes various applications for functional surfaces, such as NanoCPS® for corrosion protection, NanoGlide® for anti-friction coatings (tribological applications) and Nanoplating®, a process used to integrate nanoparticle systems and create new galvanic surfaces.
"Applications based on nanotechnology offer diverse opportunities for making procedures and processes more efficient and thus improving them in the long term, especially in drive technology and power engineering. For example, machine efficiency can be greatly improved by using NanoGlide® systems, making a long-lasting contribution to the conservation of our natural resources. As a leading enabler, it was therefore important to us that we intensify our work in the growth segment automotive and mechanical engineering", explains Michael Jung, a member of the Management Board of Nanogate AG. "We are using the great variety of nanotechnologically enhanced applications that we are showcasing at Hannover Messe to demonstrate impressively the market potential and innovations that Nanogate-Technologie® enables."
