From hand axe to reinforced concrete
Up until now, mineral materials have been preferred as construction materials. Floors, facades, wall coverings and roofs made of granite, basalt, marble, sandstone and shale. Concrete calls itself modern-day stone. It is made artificially but predominantly from natural materials. Virtually anything is possible with concrete.
Protects against vandalism
Like natural stone, concrete is also a mineral compound, basically a stone and it is hence susceptible to moisture that can lead to frost damage or corrosion to steel reinforcements. An invisible coating applied using Nanogate-Technologie® protects the mineral compounds from penetrating damp. Environmental influences, like exhaust gas residue and acid rain, as well as damage from graffiti, represent dangers to stone. An enhancement using Nanogate-Technologie® seals the surface; dust, dirt and exhaust gas cannot penetrate the material. And yet neither the breathing activity nor the visual or haptic effect of the material is altered. Steam can diffuse in both directions through the coating and, if necessary, the material lying underneath it.
Sealed against sun, wind and rain
Nanogate-Technologie® maintains the value of the building. For graffiti-endangered areas, Nanogate can offer anti-graffiti systems especially adapted to the respective surface. Other application areas are dirt-repelling functions for porous surfaces in floorings, and water-repelling coatings for facades.
Nanogate-Technologie® can be used for a successful prevention but also sanitation. The enhancement of mineral surfaces using Nanogate-Technologie® boasts many opportunities, also for your products and applications. Ask our specialists.
